A bit of Bible fiction. Yes, that's right. A piece I called something like "vegetarian Cain" or "smiley" before it was finished and properly named. Inspired by some interesting theories floating around in the Web (mainly about how Cain was the first vegetarian), The Holy Bibble's adorable emo Cain, and M. Night Shyamalan's The Village, in that order.

Apologies to all Bible-revering believers, but being vegan myself, this was something I simply had to do. I always liked Cain, somehow, and labelling him as a straightforward, uncomplicated villain seemed like missing a major point. So I fixed that for him.
